What I did over Christmas
Hey Guys - long time no see! (What's this about a new Orem location!?!)
Check out the 2013 New Year Gifts I Made for Some Neighbor Kids I told their parents that at my usual salary the two motorized toys would have cost $1000+ (each) to build. Yeah - I'm slow.... = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Now that I have a dedicated "electronics lab" space at home, I've been growing my stock of parts, mostly from Asia via eBay. (It's amazing what you can acquire - shipped! - for dirt cheap if you're willing to wait a couple weeks.) My immediate goal is to come up with a replacement "brain" for the Mousey toy - to provide better coordination between the light detecting antennae and the motors. I'm also trying to work up a "Touch On / Touch Off LED" option for the young lady's candle lamp. After that ... who knows? |
