Kyle Weller
Hey everyone, I haven't ever attended a meeting, but wish to do so soon. I am in my senior year of my undergraduate in Electrical Engineering at BYU. I currently work as a software engineer developing mostly in Javascript using node.js. I love to build random things and hack at stuff. One of my lifelong dreams is to design my own home automation system.
Some of my recent at home projects include an rc car guided by a modulated laser pointer, some arduino tinkering with sensors and webservers, and my latest involves powering some lights with magnets on a bicycle. I was wanting to come in and network with some fellow hackers and maybe get some advice on my newest project. Give me a shout out if you are up on your electromagnetic induction skills! I can't make the public meeting this Saturday, but would love to come in and meet some people, when else is a popular time when people meet up? Kyle Weller 9two5 6ate1 nine827 |

RE: Kyle Weller
Welcome!
I know little about the back-end functionality of magnets; John would probably be the expert on that, He's done all sorts of interesting and terrifying projects. I dunno if he's active on this forum though. I'll try to remember to tell him. |
