Hey All! I'm a maker in Chicago, possibly moving to Utah in a few months. I look forward to meeting you all. It'll be kind of like discovering Utah for the first time, in spite of having lived there for 5 years. I had no idea there was a maker community! Awesome!

I'm part of a startup company building 3D printers called TrinityLabs, based in Portland, OR. We're behind the MendelMax printer (you've probably heard of the reprap / Mendel Prusa--the MendelMax is a version with a stronger frame).

The next public night is not this Saturday, but the one after that. However we always are open to fellow hackers / makers passing through.

Also, you could likely find a member or two there tomorrow (Friday). PM on the forums or IRC tomorrow and I can check if anyone is there.

This Saturday is our members meeting. Normally we would be there most of the day, but this time we will be having it up in Salt Lake at our extension Darlington. We should be back around 7:30pm and would love to have you stop in.
